OUR STORY

The company was founded in 2019 by Emile Matthee. After 8-years in the construction industry, Emile was not satisfied to see how many companies mistreat their employees and treat their clients like they’re just an invoice number. EM Electrical was started to change that, to treat employees with respect and give clients the best solutions. To treat clients like human beings and not just a number on an invoice. After 4 years in business, we upgraded EM Electrical to EMD Electrical (Pty) Ltd. We are fully licensed with DOL as electrical contractors.

We work on the principle of doing things right the first time. We want to make your time with us as memorable as possible by providing a service that’s unique to every client. Our goal is to leave you feeling happy and proud and to make you feel part of a family who cares and have your best interest at heart, not just for you but for our employees as well.

Each of our installations is unique to that specific client. We don’t believe in copy and paste. Authenticity is one of our biggest values and so we show it in our work. We know every client is different, so we tailor our installations to fit that client’s needs and wants, all our installations are always in regulation with NO exceptions and all our installations come with a COC.

We have a passion for what we do and our main goal at the end of the day is to live our mission which is to leave our client feeling happy and proud. This is the biggest reward for us, when we look back and see how happy our clients are and that we know we out did ourselves.

We hold ourselves to a very high standard. Meaning if it’s not good enough for us it is not good enough for our client. We work based on “if I won’t accept it in my house, I won’t accept it in my client’s house”. Average is a word we do not know. We only know excellent work.
